Grant Luhrs is a Singer/Songwriter who lives in Wagga Wagga. He has recorded twelve albums and still performs all around Australia with his band, The Fabulous Chook Raffle Band. Grant and the band also performed at the Nanning International Folk Festival in China in 2007, and at the Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week, also in China in 2009. He has been a regular performer at the Tamworth Country Music Festival since 1986. He hosts The Best of the Bush Poetry Breakfast at the West Tamworth Leagues Club and performs at selected venues throughout the festival. Grant is also in demand as a Compere and Stage Manager all over Australia. Grant owns The Flying Fox Recording Studio and The Tabbita Record Company, which are both located in Wagga Wagga. Grant also taught sound recording at Charles Sturt University and Vietnam. He also has a programme on ABC Riverina on Saturday mornings with Barry Anderson.
